Me llego un mail del grupo de Yahoo Milpack con una iniciativa de un ingles para homenajear los 30 años de la Guerra por Malvinas.
No deberiamos hacer algo nosotros tambien?
Les copio el mail:
I am working on a plan, which will require help from Mil (Amateur) Radio collectors.
Since next year is the 30th. Aniversary of the Falklands, and Clansman had it's first roll-out in this conflict, I intend to set up a radio station. This will use Clansman gear, and will operate over the dates of the Falklands action (5th. April untill early June).
It would be good to have as many contacts as possible from other users of ex-mil equipment.
It should:
1) Remind people about the Falklands, and our Lads actions to secure the islands for their inhabitants.
2) Raise awareness about Amateur Radio (which seems to be in something of a decline).
3) Raise funds for "Help for Heroes".
If people want to set up similar desplays / activities in their areas, this
would also be good.
Hoping to hear from some of you. Ideas, comments, boots in gears, all will be listened to.
Best 73's to the group, Kit Warwick [GW8DSO, Swansea]
